EFT - Emotional Freedom Technique. This short term, solution focused therapy is drawn from modern cognitive psychotherapy coupled with the ancient science of acupuncture. Often referred to as ‘tapping’, a central feature of this therapy involves tapping with your fingertips on points of the upper body.
EFT is a clinically trialed solution-focused therapy for trauma, chronic anxiety, phobias, OCD, depression and addictions.
Sessions are offered in Bruton, Frome, and Online
A Soul Midwife offers holistic and spiritual companionship to those diagnosed with terminal illness or at end of life, as well as support to their families and loved ones.
In ancient times the act of dying was regarded as a special time of spiritual preparation for whatever lay ahead. Priests and healers were initiates to the great mysteries of living and dying - skilled in taking care of not just the body, but the mind and the soul. Their knowledge of each part of the dying process was fully understood and managed, ensuring death came peacefully, with a recognition of its sacred meaning. The dying once attended to in tranquil temples is very different from our modern hospitals today, and Soul Midwifery brings back a deeper understanding of dying with meaning and grace.

Death Café is a Free gathering over cake and coffee to explore ideas and beliefs around death, open to all perspectives. There is no set topic - the conversation flows with what attendees wish to discuss.
Death Café is part of an international movement founded by Jon Underwood. The intent of Death café is not to be oppressing, nor to overwhelm with grief, but rather to cultivate appreciation of life and the time we have been gifted. The idea is that becoming more comfortable with death and de-stigmatizing it, we can become less fearful and live fuller, more appreciative lives.
You will not be expected to share during the meeting either; receiving and listening are also perfectly fine.
You are welcome to bring a prayer or poem to share.
